Matt was born and raised Apollo, PA where he attended Apollo-Ridge High School. At Apollo-Ridge, he lettered in Basketball before graduating in 2013. He continued his academic career at CCAC Boyce Campus for a year, where he played basketball for the team during his time. He then transferred to Slippery Rock University, in which graduated from in 2018, with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management. 

After graduating from Slippery Rock, he completed an internship with Zero Gravity Basketball, who is the largest grassroots basketball company in the world. After, he worked with another AAU basketball organization were he traveled the Pittsburgh, PA area acting as the Tournament Director. 

Matt has now been with the NCBBA-M for 2+ years and his dedicated in his efforts to continuing to grow and improve the league to make sure all teams have the best experience possible.
