The field is set and the Official 2026 NCBBA-W National Championship Tournament Bracket will be released today.

Congratulations to Syracuse for defeating SUNY Cortland to win the North Atlantic Region. Boston College defeats Sacred Heart to defend the New England Region title. Michigan takes down Michigan State to win the Great Lakes Regional title. VCU defeats West Chester to win the Mid-Atlantic Regional Title. Finally, Cal Poly-SLO beats Stanford to win the Pacific Regional title.

2 TICKETS PUNCHED TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHI; DAY 1 ENDS

Congratulations to Iowa for defeating Miami OH in the Mid America Regional Championship game by a score of 67-61.

Congratulations to Michigan for defeating Michigan State in the Great Lakes Regional Championship game by a score of 56-54.

Iowa and Michigan are the first two teams to clinch a spot in the National Championship Tournament April 10-12th in Erie, PA.

2026 REGIONALS WEEKEND IS HERE

The NCBBA-Women’s regular season has come to an end. This weekend we will have 6 Regional Tournaments taking place throughout the country with each winner earning an automatic bid to the National Championship Tournament in Erie, PA.

4TH STRAIGHT AT #1

Sacred Heart stays at #1 receiving 6 first place votes sitting at 12-0 in conference play. While Ohio State receives 2 first place vote.

Ohio State at #2, Syracuse at #3, Cal Poly-SLO at #4, and Boston College moves to #5 round out the top 5.

25-26 POST SEASON BOUND

The NCBBA-W would like to congratulate the following teams on earning a berth into the post-season regional tournaments.

  • Boston College – New England East Conference Champions
  • Boston University – New England East Conference Runner Ups
  • Vermont – New England North Conference Champions
  • UMass – New England North Conference Runner Ups
  • PennWest-Edinboro – North Atlantic West Conference Runner Ups
  • UC San Diego – Pacific South Conference Champions
  • UC Irvine – Pacific South Conference Runner Ups

The NCBBA is excited to announce that High Point University is the 1st official new team to join the NCBBA-W division for the 2026-2027 season. Welcome Panthers.
