25-26 POST SEASON BOUND

The NCBBA-W would like to congratulate the following teams on earning a berth into the post-season regional tournaments.

  • Boston College – New England East Conference Champions
  • Boston University – New England East Conference Runner Ups
  • Vermont – New England North Conference Champions
  • UMass – New England North Conference Runner Ups
  • PennWest-Edinboro – North Atlantic West Conference Runner Ups
  • UC San Diego – Pacific South Conference Champions
  • UC Irvine – Pacific South Conference Runner Ups

3RD STRAIGHT POLL AT #1

Sacred Heart stays at #1 receiving 6 first place votes sitting at 12-0 in conference play. While Ohio State receives 2 first place vote.

Ohio State at #2, Syracuse at #3, Cal Poly-SLO at #4, and VCU moves to #5 round out the top 5. 2 teams dropped out. 22 teams received votes in the Week 19 poll.

26-27 FIRST NEW TEAM

The NCBBA is excited to announce that High Point University is the 1st official new team to join the NCBBA-W division for the 2026-2027 season. Welcome Panthers.

2026 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO ERIE FOR 5TH STRAIGHT SEASON

The NCBBA-W is excited to announce that National Championship Tournament will be heading back to Erie, PA for the fifth year in a row! The event will take place at Hagerty Family Events Center on April 10th. It will then move to Highmark Events Center for April 11th and 12th. This will allow us to live broadcast the Semi-Finals and the Championship Game for the fourth straight year!

SACRED HEART REMAINS #1

Sacred Heart stays at #1 receiving 7 first place votes sitting at 10-0 in conference play. While Ohio State receives 1 first place vote.

Ohio State at #2, Penn at #3, Syracuse at #4, and Cal Poly moves to #5 round out the top 5. 21 teams received votes in the Week 15 poll.
