NEW TEAM

The NCBBA is excited to announce that Ohio University has officially joined the NCBBA Women’s Division for the 2021-2022 season. Welcome Bobcats!

The bobcats are already the sixth new team to join the NCBBA-W for the 2021-22 season. They join Cal Poly – Pomona, Iona College, Merrimack College, Miami OH, and Saginaw Valley State.

The Broncos are already the fifth new team to join the NCBBA-W for the 2021-22 season. They join Iona College, Merrimack College, Miami OH, and Saginaw Valley State.

ALEC VERHOFF NAMED DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL OPERATIONS

The NCBBA is excited to announce that Alec Verhoff has been named the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations and Director of Basketball Team Development for both the NCBBA-M and NCBBA-W leagues, effective immediately.

Alec previously worked with the NCBBA in 2019 & 2020 and played a crucial role with team recruitment & development.   Alec was able to help get the NCBBA-W league off and running prior to the pandemic, where he did a fantastic job working with all of the NCBBA teams and we believe he will continue to grow and enhance the overall NCBBA experience. We couldn’t be more excited for you all to work with him.  Alec has been a tremendous asset from day one and we couldn’t be happier to have him take on the challenge of running NCBBA-W Basketball Operations.  All of you will be in very good hands!

Alec was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Sport Management. While attending Central Missouri, Alec participated in Club Baseball for four years becoming the President of the team his senior year.
